SPACE: 1999 HAWK
Well, I finally completed my MPC Space: 1999 Hawk model kit. I’m very pleased with how it turned out. The detailing of this kit is far better than the old one from the ’70s. It includes lots of decals which can be tedious to apply but it’s really nice they included all of the markings. Definitely need a decal softener to make them go on properly, especially for those that have to wrap around some of the parts. I used Mission Paints for the first time and am impressed with the smooth finish. The orange color is close to the orange tone of the decals. Overall it’s a pretty accurate replica of the ship.
